If a covered item is determined to be non-repairable, the cost of a full replacement unit is the member's responsibility. See the Exclusions section for full details.

What Is Not Covered

Full Unit or Equipment Replacement If a covered system or appliance is deemed non-repairable, the cost of purchasing and installing a replacement unit is not covered.

Pre-Existing Conditions Failures caused by conditions that existed before your 15-day waiting period activation date.
✕
Cosmetic Damage Dents, scratches, rust, discoloration, or damage to aesthetic components that do not affect mechanical function.
✕
Misuse, Neglect, or Unauthorized Modification Damage resulting from improper use, failure to maintain filters, or modifications not approved by the manufacturer.
✕
Acts of Nature / Structural Damage Damage from flooding, fire, storms, earthquakes, lightning, or other events covered by homeowners insurance.

Commercial or Multi-Unit Properties Coverage is for single-family residential use only. Commercial, rental, or mixed-use properties are not eligible.

Inaccessible or Concealed Components Parts or systems that cannot be reached without demolition, removal of walls, flooring, or structural elements.

Consumables & Maintenance Items Filters, light bulbs, batteries, hoses, belts, and other regularly replaced consumable items.

Non-Standard or DIY Installations Systems that were installed incorrectly, are out of code, or were installed without required permits.
