Laguna Shield™ offers independent protection plans for heating, cooling, water systems, and appliances. Our service is designed to complement—not replace— any repair or maintenance programs offered by your local utility or community. We work for homeowners directly, providing simple, predictable coverage you can rely on.
Laguna Shield™ coverage officially begins January 1, 2026. Until your plan becomes active, repairs are not yet eligible for service through your subscription.
If you experience an issue before your coverage start date, we recommend contacting a trusted local technician or service provider for immediate assistance. Once your Laguna Shield™ plan activates, you’ll be able to request repairs directly through your dashboard with full access to your benefits.
You may cancel your plan within 30 days of your enrollment date for a full refund, as long as no service claims have been made.
After the first 30 days, all Laguna Shield plans carry a 12-month commitment. This means the full remaining balance of the annual plan is required if you choose to end your coverage early.
We structure plans this way to keep monthly pricing low and predictable for all members while ensuring uninterrupted protection for your home.
Yes — you may upgrade your coverage at any time. You can move from an Individual Plan to a Bundle Shield Plan or to any of our Whole Home Shield™ Plans whenever you’re ready. Upgraded coverage follows the standard waiting period before becoming active.
All Laguna Shield plans are structured as a 12-month service agreement, even when billed monthly. This allows us to maintain stable low pricing, trusted technician availability, and reliable service standards.
For this reason, downgrades are not permitted during the initial 12-month term. After completing your first year, you may adjust, downgrade, or change your plan during renewal.
Laguna Shield operates on a 12-month service model to ensure fair pricing and consistent service for all members. Monthly billing simply makes the annual commitment more accessible.
